I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara, Türkiye. My clinical and academic work focuses on foot and ankle surgery: ankle arthroscopy, chronic ankle instability, osteochondral lesions of the talus, sports injuries, Achilles and other tendon disorders, foot and ankle trauma, hallux valgus, deformity correction and reconstructive surgery.

Teaching and professional activities
I teach medical students and orthopaedic residents at Gazi University and serve as faculty on cadaveric, arthroscopy and foot and ankle surgery courses. As a member of the AO Trauma National Faculty, I contribute to postgraduate orthopaedic education and surgical training.
I am Deputy Editor of Joint Diseases and Related Surgery and of Archives of Current Medical Research, and a peer reviewer for international journals including The Bone & Joint Journal, The American Journal of Sports Medicine, BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders, Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery, Medicine, Shoulder & Elbow and Acta Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica.
Research and publications
